The Cancer Association assists local cancer patients in Louisiana.
In Louisiana, we cover cancer patients with any cancer in 23 parishes
and an additional 41 parishes are covered with gas and food grants. The Cancer Association's program Breastoration covers
all 64 parishes for women who seek reconstruction in the state of
Louisiana after a mastectomy due to breast cancer. The Cancer

and learn how we assist local Cancer Patients in Treatment Many times
we are the last resort for cancer patients who have limited income. Our
patient services program can help cover the costs of prescription pain
and treatment medications, colostomy bags and comfort items (bedpads,
etc.) for cancer patients who cannot afford these necessities and/or
“fall through the cracks"
