Fleur de Bra is a costumed fashion show that celebrates survivors, and raises funds for breast cancer patients. Local professionals walk the runway, modeling fabulous looks created by carefully selected artists and designers. All money raised goes to Breastoration, a fund dedicated to helping those affected by breast cancer.

Breastoration provides education and financial support to breast cancer patients seeking reconstruction surgery; it is supported by CALA, Cancer Association of Louisiana. Since its inception in 2011, Breastoration has assisted 250 patients, with 557 reconstructive surgeries, totaling over $720,000 from 46 different referring surgeons and 26 different facilities.

The money raised by Fleur de Bra goes directly to helping patients by providing educational resources, and additional financial support through transportation to and from treatment, medical garments, prescription assistance, food vouchers, and co-pay assistance.

• $2200 supports breast reconstruction for one woman (ancillary services, bras|garments, prescriptions, rides, etc)
• $1000 supports lost wages and child care during reconstruction and recovery. 
• $500 supports medication, supplies, clinic fees
• $250 supports transportation to and from medical appointments, medical garments worn during recovery and for lymphedema.
